Contis has a nineteen-year, diverse professional background in the real
estate business. Enhancing her real estate sales experience, Ms. Contis
has extensive knowledge in real estate asset/property management, real estate
research, and property valuations.
Ms. Contis received her formal education at the Lyceum and Technische Universitaet in Berlin, Germany, where she earned a BA degree in foreign languages and mathematics and at the Friedrich List College where she received an advanced degree in business economics and finance. Additionally, she took post-graduate language studies at the Sorbonne in Paris. In the United States, Ms. Contis completed professional
courses at the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) from which she
received her Certified Property Manager designation. In order to further
sharpen her professional skills, she attended the School of Mortgage Banking
where she completed studies in mortgage banking principles and mortgage
lending fundamentals. Lorry Hood Lorry Hood was born in New York and spent most of her adult life in San Francisco. She has lived in the Napa Valley for the past four years, and now resides in Calistoga. Lorry has had an interesting and eclectic background; she taught foreign languages at the college and high school levels, she has held executive level positions in hotel management, and has owned her own restaurant in San Francisco. She has a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign language, and graduated "cum Laude" in both programs. The common thread throughout Lorrys various careers she says is "not boring".
